Man, as if reading about the grilling wasn't enough, just knowing a "car guy" who posts pictures of hotrods and muscle cars is enough to get me to subscribe! And it just could be enough to get my HUSBAND to sign up for Substack. Wait....but that means he will be able to read everything that I write (often about him)....NEVER MIND!

I’m going to a car show this weekend, so look for more pix next week 👍

Doooooooooh!! We haven't attended a single car show this year (Johnny's health has been quite bad) and we are DROOLING in wanting to attend one. We missed the show down in Puyallup, WA - I think its called the Good Guys show. Have you ever gone down to the quarterly shows down in Pomona, California? We went there once and it was so massive and amazing!

I've not been to Pomona. Most of my time was in Silicon Valley and Bay Area. I'm now in Portalnd, OR, so PDX & Northwest are my beat now. I'll be in Lake Oswego this weekend: https://www.oswegoheritage.org/CarBoatShow

You could write with a pseudonym and an avatar that masks your face. Then he would need to look over your shoulder to find out the mystery lady writing about him. 😎

Yeah, I don't know if a pseudonym would help. Someone actually posted a question about farting (yeah, like I WOULD NEVER DO THAT!!) and I answered about giving a Dutch oven as a gift to my husband...so if he, my husband, ever reads that he will know it was ME!

Restoring classic cars is big in the Reno-Carson City-Carson Valley ares too. Possibly more Corvettes per capita in the world. And their owners like to just take them out for a spin now than then instead of keeping them hidden for a show. Thank you for sharing these photos. Loved them and the shining long-gone days they represent.

I love corvettes but they are not so plentiful here in PDX area. 😎
