I see lots of cherry pies in your future! Maybe some hot pepper jam instead of apricot? Beautiful photos have whetted my appetite

Hot pepper jam is a new one to consider! Linda just bought 12 pounds of apricots at the Cedar Hills market for pantry jam. Natures bounty is a joy to photograph 🫶

What a beautiful way to live! Photographing your bountiful finds! If you live down here I will give you a tree fall of apricots and peaches. Lol!

Hope you were able to find some decent apricots, anyway. I love the pic of the tomatoes, especially! Looking forward here to some decent peaches soon. What would you two make with peaches first? 😁🤔

In a moment of near panic-buying yesterday, I realized I had dangerously miscalculated the apricot growing season. Our stalwart vendor sold the last they had a week earlier, and the season was only 3 weeks this year.

I jumped on the Web, quickly researching other farm options. A Cornelius farm said their yield was small, though they wouldn’t know what they had to sell until their team returned from market.

The Cedar Hills market. Ten minutes away. Closing in 30 minutes. Off I went. A lovely young lady gathered their last 12#, and I negotiated a flat price to my liking.

Oddly, our peach preferences are limited to: a. pie (because restaurants love it); b. galette (because we love it); and c. ice cream (because there’s nothing better in the universe during the summer).

You must have apricot karma too. 😉

It works for everything. Fascinating to think about applying it elsewhere…

Lovely photos! I also have a friend with parking karma. Every time we go somewhere, she gets a front row parking spot. It's a running joke among our friends.

Those cherries are my favorites and only come for a short time. Maybe that's one reason they're so precious.

My husband has a special technique to manifest parking spots at busy places…never fails! Great photos and the sunflower pic is amazing!

K.L., I found long ago that if I simply reduce any anxiety associated with finding a spot, and if I expect the very best spot it always works.
