Oh wow, the first photo looks like an ice skating rink. Beautiful photos, thank you for sharing!

It’s gorgeous, as are the images. (Very Scandinavian.) Thanks for sharing as I’ve seen murmurings about this newly built part of that airport.

Paul, PDX is probably my favorite airport in the world (and I’ve seen a lot of them -domestic and internationally). The people were so nice and helpful there, it was easy to get in and out, just a great experience. And that was before the renovations. Wish I could see it now. Thanks for this post!

Having those trees growing in that expansive space adds to the warmth of the wood paneling and the natural light coming through the skylights. A very healthy place indeed. (BTW, how did you set up your "Buy me a coffee" buttons.) Are they on the "Button" menu on the dashboard?)

Healthy and calming space indeed. Buy Me a Coffee: sign up for an account at buymeacoffe.com, copy link, paste link into Custom Botton in post. Easy-peasy!

Thank you, Paul.

Okay, I looked on the link, but wonder if the money buys coffee or sends cash to my substack account? I'm confused.

If you sign up, people can send you $5 with the link to your account. Funds are processed by Stripe into your bank account in 3-5 days after you request a payout.

Thank you. I'm so paranoid that I'm misunderstanding the information on the websites.

I hope you get to fly here and see it someday 😎

I never look at flights into PDX. With the traffic between Olympia and SeaTac, it might be worth a try someday.

All the space shown is open to the public prior to TSA screening. I recommend taking a trip to see the new PDX. You’ll be glad you did! 😎

I absolutely love wood slated paneling, and space dividers. There’s some thing very call me and hold me about them. All the elements in the decor and architecture come together so perfectly here. The Japanese call it Shibui Nice Paul and Linda! 💖✨💖
